MAOZ PARTNERS' TESTIMONIALS Here is what our partners have to say... If you have a testimony about how this ministry and the Maoz Israel Report have impacted your life as a believer - please email us!
Thank you for the promise of a blessing... and I am blessed by the LORD because I love His chosen people! And my gift is given every month to MAOZ Brazil (where I live), with an extra gift at the end of each year... and prayers go up daily for the peace of Jerusalem!
I agree 1 Trillion percent in everything you have said about the importance to support Israel. Also, my husband, and I love Israel with our whole heart and the Israeli people as well. We've been praying for the peace of Jerusalem for many years, since we got saved 36 years ago.
Your words of gratitude make me feel so special even though my monthly offering is minimal in my eyes.
I want to express my thanks to Maoz Ministries for the monthly Maoz Israel Report - both the newsletter and email. As a missionary to the Jewish people in Brooklyn, NY and the Greater NY Metro Area for the last 15 years, I rely upon the straight facts of what is happening in the Eretz Israel among the believing community and in Israel society, culture and government. Maoz is indispensable for me in this regard. Every month I eagerly look forward to Shira's informed, astute and heartfelt report on current news of prophetic relevance, as well as the testimonies of how the Lord is moving in the believing community in Israel.
As your ministry to Israel and the Jewish people has grown I seem to have grown along with you. Over the years, because of the newsletter - and now email - my heart has grown from a limited desire to help Ari and Shira and their work in Israel into a full blown love of God's people and His land.
I am a 12 year old student in Maui and i have been getting this Newsletter for probably 8 months now, but have not had time to help yet. Now I think I am going to start trying to give some money to the needy in Israel. Its not much, but I'm sure God will provide. I love Israel and I wanted to tell you that Jesus loves you and he will always look out for you.
My testimony goes way back... 1987 or so. We were at a MJAA conference. My husband and I had been called years before to make Aliyah but didn''t have the foggiest notion about what that meant. You two took your time and sat with us and asked us many questions. You allowed us to ask all our questions and patiently answered everyone of them. You gave us godly advice and prayed a very annointed prayer over us. Our 80-year-old uncle sat in on the meeting because he wanted to see what was happening (very protective). He was remarkably impressed and was able to relax and let us 'go'. (We even have a picture that a friend took when he saw us all sitting there!) Your encouragement was exactly what we needed. We made Aliyah in 1989, stayed until 1996 and have just returned for good... I remember one thing especially that you told us, Ari, by way of a reality check... You said that how ever we live our lives in the states, whatever kind of people we are, our walking out our life in Y'shua would be the same in Israel. You warned us not to expect big changes to our life outlook or living patterns. No big miraculous change in the air on the way over. That is the gist of what you shared and I always remember that... very helpful!
I look forward to receiving the Maoz Israel Reports both by mail and email. I have a hard time throwing them away because they are so wonderful and exciting. One of these days I may have an opportunity to share them with a Jewish person. I take part in an Israeli dance class where I am the only Gentile there most of the time. I see this as a wonderful chance to witness. From time to time they ask general questions about my congregation, Ohev Y'israel. I hope one of these days I'll be able to do more. I feel like a "newby" at this, but reading the Maoz newsletters encourages me to do more.
The Bible says "I will bless those who bless you," meaning Israel. So I try to help the Jewish people when I can. I stand side by side with the apple of God's eye - Israel.
We love the Maoz Israel Report. It is always so well written and informative. It is a lifeline to both the events in Israel and to your ministry, for we are very interested in both. Having known Shira since the early 70's, and Ari since their marriage, I am most blessed by their legacy of consistent faith. Faith is not a feeling or a belief. Faith is action. It is revealed by staying the course through time, through all manner of trials and temptations. Faith is preceded by vision, but vision does not always give birth to faith that bears fruit. That takes persistence and courage -- vision that overcomes darkness. The Maoz newsletter has allowed those of us who labor in other places to be encouraged by God's work in Israel in our days -- born through the long labor of those who refuse to give up; it allows us to participate at a more intimate level through knowledge and prayer. To Shira and Ari I say, as the Lord said to Joshua, "Be strong and of good courage; do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
By a supernatural miracle from Adonai I began to yearn an interest in the Jewishness of Yeshua. I now understand how my upbringing in Christianity was paganized, romanized, americanized, and denominationalized. I wanted to see the pure truth of God's Word. Your ministry, especially the article on the oldest Scripts, only confirmed my deep yearning to understand the Lord through Yeshua by the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).
My husband and I are fairly new to seeing the news from Israel with Maoz. We are very interested in the updated reports that you give, since our hearts are there. We have made two trips to Israel and love the people and the land. It's home. We are both graduates of Christ for the Nations - and a person can't graduate from there and not love Israel and the Jewish people.
I have been aquainted with Maoz since hearing Ari speak at Baruch Hashem Congregation while I was visiting about two years ago. I was so blessed and immediately signed up for the Maoz Newsletter. In the summer of 2006 at the Messiah Conference in Grantham, PA, I was so blessed to meet so many wonderful members of Tiferet Yeshua and hear all that God is doing in the lives of each induvidual of that congregation.
For the last three months, after I read your newletters, I pass them on to my dad to read. I believe that the Lord is using you and Maoz to work in his heart, for he is not yet saved. Though he is not yet saved, my dad continues to search for the truth, asking God to reveal Himself to him if He is who He says He is. The sorrows and tragedies of this world, which he takes very much to heart, has blinded him to the fact that God does exist, that He is in control, and that this is all part of His plan for humanity. But the Lord is much greater than his doubt and unbelief; I cannot wait for the day that I contact you to tell you that he has seen the truth and accepted Yeshua.
We enjoy receiving Dateline. It shows our GOD is alive & well. You show prophecy being fulfiled, as well as the growth of Israel. You also show how the leaders of Israel DON'T know their own scriptures, where GOD tells not to give the covenant land back. We are also glad the Messianic famliy is showing Jesus's love to reach the traditional Jews with the truth. We also share it with friends that love Israel. We realize that what goes on in Israel affects us as well.
In December of 2006, my son Christian, who was 9 years old at the time, was reading the Maoz Israel Report which talked about Burkina Faso tithing to your ministry - because they knew God would in turn bless them. Christian felt God asking him to tithe some of his birthday money, I believe it was approximately $10. A few weeks later, the bank where we have set up accounts for all our children, gave every member a dividend of at least $50, for the first time in 20 years! I knew in my heart that God was blessing Christian! He was very encouraged and he continues to read the monthly reports and we do pray for Israel on a regular basis. I am not able to tithe to your ministry on a regular basis, but when I have a surplus of money, I do send it your way. Thank you for being faithful in sending us the Maoz Israel Report. I look forward to hearing how God is moving in Israel and what we can specifically pray for. What your ministry did for me gives me more joy than most anything in my secular life. For years I have wanted to have my little book, BLESS YOUR CHILDREN EVERYDAY made available in Hebrew. Through Moaz Israel, that became a reality in June 2007. Thank you so much for making my dream come true.
Every month I receive your Maoz Newsletter and e-mails with a great, great, great joy!!! For me your ministry in Israel is a great blessing for Israel and the gentiles, too. I was very touched by Motti's description of young people in Israel. For that reason I decided to dedicate our monthly service to pray for them: messianic, secular, religious, soldiers, etc. The young people of our church do all the prayers for that night.
I was studying the New Testament about giving and found that there were instructions for collecting offerings to help poor, persecuted Jewish believers in Israel. I wanted to do this because it is what G*d commands in the New Testament, but I had never heard of or seen anyone take up such an offering. My son suggested your ministry, IStandWithIsrael.com . I investigated and was delighted that your ministry did exactly what the New Testament said in this regard.
Interceding for the various ministry prayer needs is a privilege and blessing. I feel closer to our Messiah when lifting up those needs and my life is blessed beyond measure when I give and when I pray this way.
As a Messianic believer I am thankful that through your weekly reports I can best understand and see some of the things Adonai's chosen people are still going through. I am also more convinced that being a Messianic part of the Olive tree is the best thing that has happened to me. I now understand the difference between Christianity and Messianic Faith, and I cannot and will not stop giving thanks to Yeshua for all that He has done and is still doing in my life. My prayer is that Adonai will continue to strengthen Israel to withstand the trials and tribulations that must be endured during these times. |
